Pat Gallagher
Chairman
Pat, a chartered accountant, working and living in Waipawa, brings both commercial and financial experience to the Trust. Serving his second term, he believes it important the company retains local ownership and operates in the best interest of the community. Pat is an elected member of the trust.
Sarah Von Dadelszen
Sarah, a farmer near Takapau, came into the Trust in 2003. Her background in farm consultancy and rural banking, following on from a degree in Agriculture has provided her with sound financial knowledge. Her aims on the Trust are to ensure the company is efficiently run so reliable power at reasonable cost is supplied and that the Trust adds real benefit to this rural community. Sarah is an elected member of the trust.
Andrew Watts
Local businessman and farmer Andrew is passionate about Central Hawkes Bay and is actively involved within the community by coaching the CHB College Boys 1st XI hockey team, initiating and helping establish the Pukeora Mountain Bike Park. Andrew sees his role on the Trust as a link between the community and the board by keeping a keen interest in the wellbeing of the shareholders assets and providing innovative ideas for discussion. He would like to see Centralines become a more community minded entity. Andy is an elected member
Peter Butler
Mayor
Peter has lived and farmed all his life on Tikokino Road, Waipawa. Peter is the Vice President or the Onga-Tiko rugby Club and an honorary member of the Waipukurau Jockey Club. Peter is a financial life member of the CHB A&P association, CHB Settlers Museum and the CHB Rugby Sports club. He is also a trustee of the Waipawa Catholic Church and school endowment trusts, a member of Friends of the CHB library and a Justice of the peace. He was elected onto the Trust in 2009 but stepped down due to his successful appointment as Mayor.
George Williams
HBRC Representative
George is currently the Central Hawke's Bay constituency representative on the Hawke's Bay Regional Council. George was appointed by Peter Butler to the trust on 1st April 2011.
Angus Mabin
Silver Fern Farms Representative
Angus is currently on the Silver Fern Farms Board and was appointed to represent them on the trust. Angus and his family are 4th Generation farmers at Taniwha, situated on the Takapau Plains. He is actively involved with the community and is involved with the CHB Promotions Inc.
John Riordan
John was a Manufacturing Manager in Auckland prior to moving to Central Hawkes Bay in 2000. John is the district chairperson for NZ Pork and farms a property on the Takapau plains with his family. John's children attend the CHB college and the whole family are active in the local community.
